Whitecroft Village Hall

Whitecroft Memorial Hall is located on New Road, Whitecroft GL15 4PA.

Built in 1924 to commemorate the first world war, it has been used by the local community ever since.

The Village Hall committee is a registered charity, whose aim is to raise funds to maintain the hall for many generations to come, while at the same time bringing back a sense of local community through organised events. 

The hall and recreation ground are available for hire.

 

The hall has a capacity to seat 90 and is known for its good acoustics, it has a well conditioned floor with a main stage and electric organ.

Kitchen facilities are available and these were reconditioned in 2015.

There are Male and  Female toilet facilities and disabled access to the building.

Currently the Hall is used for, Aikido, Slimmers World, Line Dancing and Puppy Training Classes.  

 

There is also a separate gym on-site hired out on a long term basis.

Whitecroft Recreation Ground

Whitecroft Recreation Ground is located on Grove Road, Whitecroft.

Whitecroft recreation ground is an idyllic spot for local people to enjoy all year round.  Whitecroft football club play their home matches there most Saturdays during the season and maintain the ground so it's in excellent condition for everyone to enjoy.  The ground is also for hire by the hour or day for events.

Whitecroft football club is a very sociable club, currently with three teams and a youth team, anyone from the local community are always welcome to come down and enjoy the scenery and the bar is open most Saturdays.

The village committee has received a grant to provide play equipment and this is currently being investigated on where best to site a new playground based on drainage and suitability.
